Pearl: The Cloud Fairy (Rainbow Magic: The Weather Fairies, No. 3)
Hello friends! My name is Pearl. Want to know my exciting experience with my friends? If you want to know then follow me. This book is about how Kirsty, Rachel and me stop a naughty goblin from making everyone in Wetherbury gloomy. We always need to keep our eyes open for goblins. Jack Frost has blown them up twice their original size! The weather is all mixed up in Fairyland and the human world! I will tell you how we fixed the weather. We saw everyone was so gloomy in Wetherbury village. We were searching for the goblin when we saw that from the candy factor smoke was coming but the factory was always closed on Saturday's. We got to know it was the goblin. Who else would hide in a factory which is always closed on Saturday's. I shrunk both of them to my size so that they could fly up and get in through the window. We got in through the window and saw a goblin stuffing his mouth with cotton candy. He was waving the feather in the air without knowing what he was doing with it. I asked Rachel if she could distract the goblin so that Kirsty and I could get a chance to grab the feather. Rachel agreed to the idea. She flew to where the goblin was sitting and started troubling him. The goblin got so annoyed that he pushed Rachel into a cloud! When we found out that Rachel was caught in a cloud we were horrified but we found out that the clouds were cotton candy. Rachel was eating the cloud to break free.
Kirsty want to ask the goblin where the feather was and she could get a chance to grab her friend Rachel. She wanted to ask where the feather was but before she could do so the goblin saw that and stuffed the feather in his mouth. Kirsty started thinking of how she could get the feather out out of his mouth. Suddenly she saw a peppermint stick. She picked it up and started to tickle the goblin. The feather burst out of his mouth but before she could grab it the goblin grabbed it. I had an idea. I asked the goblin if he knew how to use the feather. He said yes I know how to use the feather. I will show you how to use it and he started concentrating and all the clouds in the room drifted towards him. When this was happening Kirsty freed Rachel and then she grabbed the feather from the dizzy goblin. I took the feather from Rachel and turned Rachel back to her normal size after that I bid them farewell and went back to Fairyland. Wasn't my adventure exciting? Would you like to be in it? I wish you would.
